For its 50th edition, Cinanima offered us the chance to make the festival's official film. We've been coming to the festival for years, so we built the film around what that really feels like: the trip there, and sitting down with everyone to watch animated shorts on the big screen. To capture the variety of a short film programme, we actually made one. Ten 1-second films by ten different animators, each in its own style and technique. Overall, the film is about the fun of celebrating animation, with a few public service announcements disguised as gags along the way.
