An independent 2021 project directed and executed by members of our team, predating any formal entity or collective. Full portfolio and authorship rights remain with the original creators credited. In 2021 Shillington Education needed a manifesto: their brief was rooted in energy, attitude, and a strong point of view. Being a manifesto format, it was the perfect opportunity to build something straightforward: less about explaining, more about the feeling. The art direction was intentionally direct, fresh and colorful, and André used motion as a way to amplify the film's tone and rhythm, rather than decorate it.Design and animation evolved together (all in After Effects), making it possible to test how type, layout, and movement could interact with each other, in a way that felt meaningful and dynamic. The close collaboration with the Shillington team, fluid and responsive, helped to preserve bold design choices & snappy animation. After delivery, the piece was adapted to cutdowns, as well, an array of additional formats, for both paid and non-paid media Projects where a client trusts the process and gives space for ideas to evolve are always rewarding, and Shillington did exactly that. The result? A film that can stand a test of time.
