I've been familiar with Brene Brown's work since 2019 (her Netflix debut!) and meaning to make a oner episode. There's just too many volunteer quotes! Her defintions of vulnerability, courage, and showing up (which is a phrase that I think she's solely responsible for popularizing) would have all been great. And too easy. So when I stumbled upon the Tim Ferris episode with her, it clicked. Talking about marriage on this 7th season -centering around family- was a perfect match. This episode took about three times as much working hours as other episodes, and there are personal/professional/technical reasons for it. But I feel good about them -- I believe this one needed the time-off and benefited from having pauses in-between sessions. This one feels different than the rest; loose still but more formal. And other comparisons and opposites. Still fighting the stiffness of the digital domain with every trick I know. Season 8 episodes are taking shape -- building on this one. --- Audio: Tim Ferris Podcast, 6th February 2020 Sound: Monkey Island Studio Design and animation: me For more: https://varrgo.com/brown/
